Was employed by the unit from May 1990 to Oct 1994 aside from a couple of

I was there at the beginning. With 74 comm Group Det Nanaimo from sept
1973 to Oct 76. It was a real experience, opening up a new Communications
Facility in Nanaimo, Capt Gavin Cooper being the first CO. It was great being a
part of the 748 Communications Sqn founding. Keep it up. Randy

I was a member from 1981-1985. I am unable to make the BBQ-but hey if
someone would have called and said "FAN-OUT!!", I might have jumped right up and
drove straight out to the base just as happily as I did every other time they
called a "*#@*'ing" FANOUT!!-Well this one Im sure will be more fun. I really
have lots of great memories from the people of 748comtp. Have a great time-see
you at the next one...I hope. P.S.--I still think it is a GUN!!not only a
RIFLE.....SGT!(na na na) :~)

Hello everyone. I was a member from 79-82,87-88. Went through a lot of
growing pains in that unit, but wouldn't change a thing. Okay, maybe less
exercises, always hated those goddam things! Not that any of you noticed that!

740 CommSqn Nanaimo from 1977 - 1981. As a member of the Association, we are
hoping for another successful reunion 27-29 Aug 99. I look forward to seeing old
